    This special event is designed to create a welcoming space for people of color to explore indoor climbing — whether it’s your first time on the wall or you already have some experience. Climbing gyms can feel intimidating if you're new, so the goal of this night is simple: make it easier to try the sport in a supportive, encouraging environment.

  • Climb and Vibe: March

    Climb & Vibe started as a simple idea: move together and make the gym feel like home. It quickly turned into one of our most-loved gatherings.

    We’re back at it with another session full of movement, music, and community. New climbers, experienced crushers, and everyone in between — come climb, connect, and hang with the crew.

Who are we?

We started The Outside Social Club because we were tired of being the only people of color on the slopes, the trails, and the crag. We knew others felt the same — eager for connection, craving adventure, but unsure where to start. So we built something new.

We’re a Boston-grown community built on curiosity, respect, inclusivity, and stewardship. Our mission is simple: to create fun, safe spaces where anyone — especially those new to the outdoors — can try something new, learn new skills, and meet new friends who get it.

From our hikes and ski trips to our après events at local spots like Idle Hands Brewery, everything we do is about bringing people together. We’re here to show that time outdoors isn’t a luxury — it’s our birthright.
